Selecting colors for FIL City brands

Palette Design

FIL City brand color palettes should be vibrant, energetic, and bold. Beyond that, color selection should be determined by the local aesthetic and culture—ensuring visual compatibility with the color of the central Filecoin logo ‘Filecoin Blue’ #0090FF

Colors can also be combined into gradients where appropriate to the design.

Consistent Colors

The main logo should always appear in Filecoin Blue #0090FF and should not be modified or distorted in any way. Other colors in the palette should be visually compatible and cohesive with this Filecoin Blue. If other blues are needed, Filecoin Foundation’s preference is to use existing blues from the FF brand color palette. Other contributors are free these, or other blues if preferred.

Dynamic Colors

Dynamic colors are adaptable and customizable for each FIL City event. Drawing inspiration from the local aesthetic and cultural heritage, their relationship to the host city should be recognisable. Dynamic colors establish an authentic and engaging connection with event attendees, reflecting each city's unique character. Several existing FIL City palettes are shown here as examples.
