How to produce FIL City logos

Creation

FIL City logos are created by combining the Filecoin logo, in a central circle, with two other icons from the respective FIL City brand, both inside other circles either side of the original logo. The outer circles should be slightly smaller (in proportions shown below). A transparent outline around the Filecoin logo ‘cuts’ these two smaller circles to give the appearance of depth.

It is important the icons appear optically central to these outer circles - which may not be the same as being mathematically central.

Variation

Each FIL City brand should use two icons from the set created for their respective city in order to form the logo. Icons should be selected based on both visual balance and thematic recognisability.

Best practices

FIL City logos are most useful when arranged into several lockups, for use in different scenarios. Presented below is the generic FIL City logo arranged in vertical, horizontal and icon lockups—as well as in full color, mono color, light and dark modes.
